We breed for conformation, disposition, and are dedicated to improving the quality of the breed. Through careful planning, our puppies are very well-balanced. When you purchase an English Cream Golden Retriever puppy from Sunny Ridge Retrievers, you will rest assured knowing that the pup is in great hands. All of our puppies are raised in-home and are extremely well-socialized. They have daily interaction with other dogs and receive loving and nurturing care from small children and adults.
By the time the pup is 8 weeks old and ready for its new home, training has already begun, pups have been fed a high-quality and well-balanced diet, and they are guaranteed to be in excellent health.

The pup will have all of its age-appropriate shots, will have been dewormed every two weeks, and all documentation will be clear and easy to understand. To ensure that each pup finds its ideal home, we discuss the wants and needs of each individual family, and offer insight and advice during the selection process. Our dogs are genetically tested and pups are guaranteed not to be affected for ICT. Additionally, they will have genetically clear results for DM, PRA-1,2,& PRCD. Our dogs hips, eyes, elbows, and hearts are also tested. Our sires come from current international champion bloodlines and our youngest sire is a titled champion. Our dogs are unbelievably loving and highly intelligent.
We pride ourselves on being responsible and ethical breeders. We truly value the bonds between families and pets and we've made the decision that our dogs will always remain in-home pets. Our females are not overbred and we will always prioritize their health and well-being.
Although quality genetics are a primary focus, temperaments are equally important and our selective program encompasses both. The key to an amazing temperament is a balance of quality genetics and a high level of stimulation and socialization received as a puppy. Although temperament is partially genetic, the majority of a dog's temperament is situational and heavily influenced by its early development. Our dogs provide the genetic foundation to build amazing temperaments and just three short days after birth we begin taking steps to ensure that each pup develops the ideal personality!
We perform Bio-Sensor early neurological stimulation exercises with each individual pup between days 3 and 16. It is important for puppies to be exposed to things at an early age that they'll encounter in everyday life. We take great strides to introduce all pups to a variety of different surfaces, textures, noises and provide experiences that appeal to their curiosity. We can assure you that upon release, all of our puppies are very comfortable with their surroundings and are extremely well-socialized with people, children, and other dogs. All of these factors assist to make the transition to their forever home go smoothly.
